After Golden Morning, humanity began to spread out. The various factions knew how close humanity came to extinction, and new that extinction was not an option. They learned from their passengers, some of them learning to work with their passengers, breeding them, or connecting them in secret experiments. Humanity's destiny became intertwined with the last living fragments of the great leviathans that once visited their planet. It was a different sort of completion for the much beleaguered cycle.

Humanity spread to other earths, and eventually through it's solar system. Perhaps unimpeded, one day it would reach the stars, destroying universes to propel their timeless world ships, as alien and voracious as it's former besiegers.
