Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence, They were parents, Just basically some fluffly and angst Darklina as parents, Pregnancy, Their children dies (of old age), You can have plenty of imagination about the time period, But the story does happen years after book 2 I think, Just imagine a universe where Alina failed everything, Lived with Mal but then she hasn't lost her powers and then comes back to Aleks, bc he isn't her first but her last!!!!
