| Mikey always liked this part of their patrols, when they would stay out just long enough to catch a glimpse of those vibrant colors. His eyes would be glued to the skyline where they should’ve been glued to the roof in front of them as they leaped across buildings. He would stumble and laugh when he jumped wrong while distracted, let his brothers gripe and moan about how ninja don’t watch sunrises...>>, but his eyes would always drift back to that gorgeous view. Not tonight, though. As much as he would love to watch the horizon, his head was killing him, and it took all of his concentration just to keep his legs moving as he and his brothers sprinted from building to building.
