Ling Wen makes another note, when something inside of her shift again—really, what the fuck is it? Now, she’s running through things in her mind. She supposes that the steamed buns she had for lunch were somewhat stale, but that probably isn’t the issue either.
It’s fine.
Ling Wen’s head hurts just a little, too, but she can’t entirely remember a time when her head didn’t hurt. Maybe she’s just sick, but that’s fine. After the meeting, she’ll just go back to her work in her palace, so that’s fine—it’s practically resting.
Ling Wen falls down, but Pei Ming and Shi Wudu are there to help her back up.
