| In another universe, a much darker version of Batman has been holding Superman captive for a year. In this one, Bruce was only planning to neutralize an interdimensional threat. He didn’t plan on a rescue mission. He didn’t plan to take home a hurt, broken captive who may or may not be a version of the Clark Kent he knows. But now that he has, he needs to figure out what to do with him without putting the whole planet at risk. It takes Clark a while to realize he hasn’t just traded one abuser for another, more dangerous one. |

| When their attempts to recreate the super soldier serum failed, Hydra started trying to breed Captain America clones from his genetic samples. Unfortunately, the serum's effects aren't passed down genetically, so instead of an army of tiny Captain Americas, they get a bunch of tow-headed, asthmatic, allergic, immuno-compromised little Steves. And then the Winter Soldier stumbles across Hydra's failed experiment... [This is the original, gen version of the story, which was posted as a WIP.
