Summer after summer and it's always the same. Christine and her father return to the island to perform for rich, boring tourists. This summer, however, she catches the eye of someone new to the island. Their first disastrous interaction leaves her hating him more than perhaps anyone she has ever met. But as the summer progresses and she begins to learn more about the masked man, she realizes that they may have more in common than she ever thought possible.
