Steve had been wearing it, in private, for five years. He’d bought it from a memorial website – something that had become all too common after the decimation.
It was simple enough; a tiny silver cylinder that locked together – no thicker than a pencil. It had been engraved, and merely read ‘My Lucky Star’ running down it’s diminutive length.
Bucky hated it. As far as he was concerned, it was morbid.
