He had a plan. He had pictured it clear as day. He and Ginny sending their three kids off on the Hogwarts express. Ron and him, best friends and partners stopping dark wizards. Hermione doing who knows what, but probably running the world, no doubt. He would have a comfortable home and a garden and a family. Some peace, maybe.
Expect none of that is happening. Well, maybe Hermione's still taking over the world, but none of the rest.
Instead he's staring blearily at this small muggle woman at three in the morning, wondering how someone so small can pack away so much vodka.
