James Buchanan Barnes doesn't know too much about who he is, where he's from, what he is. But if he knows anything, it's that Steven Grant Rogers will crawl through the pits of hell to save him. And so, when he sees the murderous look in Anthony Edward Stark's eyes, hears Steve move between them, yelling for him to run, he does the one thing he can think of.
He drops his gun and pushes Steve out of the way, hard, with all his superstrength. He looks Tony straight in the eyes and raises his hands over his head.
(Bucky and Steve go back to the States with Tony after Siberia)
