Max has chosen Chloe in the eye of the storm - and accepts that it will wipe out Arcadia Bay. Devastated by the events, they flee Arcadia Bay without knowing where to go. But then Chloe's truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere and the two are stranded on a farm. Plagued by feelings of guilt, fears and traumas, Max and Chloe move further and further away from each other; there is no longer any thought of love at all. But the rhythm of the farm life gives the two structure and, not least, it is precisely the secluded farm life that brings them back together.
But one question remains unanswered: Would there have been a way to save not only Chloe, but Arcadia Bay as well? And if so, what will it cost Max to return to that fateful week and do everything differently? And why could Steph be the key to change the turn of events?
A slowburn Pricefield-story with a lot of hurt and comfort, dealing with the trauma and also insecurities. There will be some explicit scenes, but mainly a lot of fluff.
