After a brief discussion with Dende and a sarcastic, mocking suggestion from Vegeta, Piccolo takes the Saiyan's words literally and uses the Dragon Balls to wish for a complete understanding of what it means to be human. The wish backfires drastically when Shenron transforms him into a slender, green-haired human youth to give him that exact experience. Stranded in a vulnerable new body with muted senses and a growling stomach, Piccolo must rely on his lingering martial arts discipline to leap across the continent and seek help from the one person he trusts most: Gohan.
