It's 2187. The Reapers have been destroyed (while EDI and the Geth live on). The Citadel has been relocated back to the Serpent Nebula. And Shepard has been given the apartment after the death the previous year of Admiral Anderson.
Shepard's mind, however, is elsewhere. Should she propose to Miranda? Does Miranda even want forever? Everyone else seems to think so, but while Maria Shepard can walk into a room of people who've been warring for a thousand years and get them to declare peace, it takes her a bit longer to know green flags when she sees them.
But with a little help from EDI, a party, and her krogan 'son' breaking into a noodle shop, Shepard will finally see what's always been there: She loves Miranda Lawson and doesn't want to wake up another morning without her.
