Bright as day, Jason can see every problem they ever had laid in front of him. Like pieces of a riddle all coming together.
“You know what I know, Bruce? I know you think that I’m somehow an exception to the whole vampire thing, but I’m not. I’m just like them. The same way they’re just like me.”
Something dangerous flickers in Bruce's eyes. "Is this a confession?"
"I didn't kill Garzonas." Jason repeats, knowing it's not going to change anything.
All vampires are monsters. Jason is a vampire. Jason is only good because he is controlled. If Jason loses control he becomes just like every other vampire. And all vampires are monsters.
