first off, yes this is not even remotely related to my half a dozen wips that i should be updating rn, yes i am terrible, yes i am no longer ashamed to admit it, but guys c’mon, the world needs this fic! i’ll get to trash and for in dreams and tiny hobits again soon! i promise! ish! 
 
anyway, full disclosure and disclaimer, i took a lot of the dialogue from CA:TWS directly, i wanted to stick to the overarching plot while still putting my own spin on it. there are some lines that have been modified, some that are of my own invention, some scenes taken directly from the film, like the “on your left” bit. so, if you think you recognize a line, you probably do bc it’s from the movie. but this is fanfiction, so i’m allowed to borrow dialogue from the original work, right? the important things are mine though, and a few of the better jokes, and obvs, all the narration, blatant homosexuality, and a/b/o stuff is my work, particularly the blatant homosexuality, bc marvel is too chicken to do it themselves properly. (note, i say properly, bc i’ll quote bucky from the first avenger on his thoughts on steve’s tights, “you’re keeping the outfit, right?”, and i’ll dare you to find a way to make that not homoerotic. go on, i’m waiting.)
second full disclosure and disclaimer, THIS FIC DEALS WITH HEAVY THEMES SURROUNDING SEX AND GRIEF. there are mentions of attempted rape/non-con and suicidal desires within this fic, full warnings for attempted rape/non-con and suicide triggers in the end notes, so they’re v serious and if you are sensitive to that, pls skip to the end notes for warnings. there are also two things discussed that are addressed in the end notes that do not reflect my actual opinion/i do not endorse involving the themes of sex and grief.
