After being captured by the League and turned into a Noumu, Izuku struggles to cope with adjusting to his old life. To make things a little easier, his brain tends to revert him down a couple of years. It takes a lot of trust to be this vulnerable, especially after everything he's been through. Fortunately, his class is just as willing to help him out as always.
It took them longer than it should have to figure it out. Sure, a lot of the signs were masked by his trauma reactions, but still, everyone sort of felt ashamed that, of all people, the 8 year old was the one who noticed it first.
She announced it proudly one day, practically out of nowhere.
“And this is my big brother Izuku,” she said, pointing to the framed picture on the wall in her parents’ home, “but sometimes, he’s also my little brother!”
A fluffy, self indulgent companion to Trusting.
