Aegon likes his nephews. He may actually like them more than his own siblings. His mother doesn't like that. All this talk of succession and being king is honestly stressing him out. He turns to strongwine to shut his mind off. Which, in hindsight, may not have been the brightest idea.

Or the one where Aegon is a cuddly drunk, and his nephews keep getting the brunt of his affection, much to his mother and grandfather's mortification. Jace and Luke don't actually mind; they actually find it a bit funny. Rhaenyra just wants to know why Aegon keeps showing up at Dragonstone, plastered out of his mind. Actually, no, her main concern is how he manages to fly on Sunfyre in such a condition without falling off and killing himself.
