An eye for an Eye

It all comes full circle.

‘Not a God. A dragon’ he thinks to himself, fingers tightening around the blade as he finishes the job. His eye slips free with a horrifying squelch and he sobs once it’s out, fingers curling around the ruined flesh. Daemon once told him that bravery is not hiding your tears but finding the courage to disregard them.
His tears flow freely.
