Aegon, Visenya and Rhaenys's conquest AU. When they were finished all that was left was molten stone and the burning skeletons. Then Balerion perched himself on the walls, admiring his work. From his spot on the saddle Aegon could see close by the armored shapes of the dornishmen, all silent witnesses, he was sure they were taught of Rhonysh wars, of the day when Nymeria chose to flee rather than fight. That day, centuries ago, it was the port of Volantis where water was made to boil under the wrath of dragons. It took three thousand dragons to accomplish that then, while today there was only one. He wondered if Balerion knew of the histories.
