Bright eyed people love platitudes like, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life." Normally, Draco Malfoy would be first in line to poke that lot in the eye, but the world looks a lot different after leading a failed revolution and being rewarded with two years in Azkaban. He had learned many things, like no good deed goes unpunished. Unfortunately, that was his first mistake. Crossing Dolores Umbridge followed closely on its heels, and listening to Lucius Malfoy's advice hammered the nails into the coffin. But blah blah, new day and all.
