Aegon was the king. Rhaenys, his queen. Visenya was the warrior. And Daenerys, the schemer.
The youngest of the conquerors, Daenerys Targaryen was beloved by her family and she in turn loved them. She would follow her siblings to the ends of the earth if they asked. So, when her brother Aegon tells her and her sisters of dragon dreams he'd been having of a great threat coming from the North to consume Westeros, the siblings band together to unite the continent under Targaryen rule and force the seven squabbling kingdoms to fight this threat together.
Aegon would be the face of the conquest with Rhaenys and Visenya to his left and right. Meanwhile, Daenerys would behind them, over Aegon's shoulder, whispering into his ear and navigating Westerosi politics, differentiating between friend and foe and writing history.
In the game of thrones, you win, or you die. There is no middle ground.
