Written for a prompt fill on tumblr: stancy trapped in the upside down together. Any season.
Nancy crawled head first through a rotting tree and into an alternate dimension. The gate was made by the Monster, one she had wanted to be real so that there'd be an answer to what happened to Barb, but hadn't wanted to be real so that she wouldn't have to face it again, when just a distant blurred shape of it was scary enough. She faces it again, and can't escape the way she came.
