The first thing Donatello does when they're returned to their lair, only minutes after the Ultimate Draco scattered them to the far-flung corners of the multiverse, is sit down and have a panic attack. His brothers try to reach him in the coming days, but in the end, it's only Mikey who is able to break the seal.

He wants to scream, wants to hit something, wants to rip his metaphorical hair out and go apeshit, but he’s the smart one. The level-headed one, the one holding everything together, the one that they look to for strength when things are uncertain. He can’t waver, he can’t let them know their potential future, he can’t let them know how horrible it could be if he messes up even a little bit.
