| Major Character Death occurs in the first chapter, then the time travel fix-it tag activates. The thing that most people across all timelines didn't realize, and that Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange tried desperately to forget, was that to do what he did in the fight against Thanos he needed to live through fourteen million, six hundred and five lives first. He didn't look on from the outside like some omnipotent specter nor observe everything in fast forward, but instead experienced each one as himself in a possible timeline. His mental health hasn't held up all that well. |

| In the upcoming Loki series, it looks like he's a time cop going around fixing timelines. In another timeline, Frigga ignores Odin's order that her son rot in the dungeon and gets Loki some professional help to deal with his issues while he is imprisoned instead of just some books and furniture. While on the Throne pretending to be Odin, Loki decides that fighting Thanos might not be hopless ...>>and that they should organize a proper fight against the tyrant just in time for the heroes of the most likely (and preferable) battle ground to have a Civil War. This is how he sorts it all out, with a press conference and a lot of grandstanding. Can be read as a sequel to "The Norn's Tools in Another's Hands" if you want it to be. Can also be read as Loki throwing Wanda under the bus instead of it actually being Wanda's fault if that's your jam. It's Loki, some things are going to be a little unclear. |

| The six stones balanced each other, acting like the weights on a loom to stabilize the fabric of reality. The threads of each of their powers were needed, and Thanos had destroyed them. It was little wonder the entire universe was rotting away - there was no real recovery happening even after five years. New growth was constantly smothered by new problems, and not just in New Asgard. The Guardians...>> of the Galaxy reported the same on every world they visited. The strife caused by the sudden loss of half of all life - not just peoples but the living plants and animals they ate, the seeds held in grain stores, and the flora and fauna that kept ecosystems in balance with the space they inhabited - was causing more death, misery, and violence even now. or If the creators of the MCU can just show us Old Man Rodgers and imply that Captain America made a parallel timeline that is the best of all possible worlds for himself then I can show you the brodinsons doing it for themselves too. |

| Takes more from Norse Myths than the comics, but primarily based on the MCU. Starts one century before Thor's planned coronation, first in an ongoing series. Time travel isn't impossible even if you don't have the Time Gem, but using it to change anything more than a few days past is widely considered the most effective way to go insane. So when Loki receives a package apparently from his fut...>>ure self he is understandably concerned. The Wheel of Time continues to turn, and whatever happens in this iteration of the universe, Loki will not ignore this herald of dangers to come. Of course, that would require that he understood the message. Unfortunately, the package arrives when Loki is still a developing adolescent instead of in the week prior to Thor's coronation.
