| Crime had always been prevalent in the world. From the modern era of social media and machines, to cave men first discovering how to make tools from stone, there had always been those willing to break the rules of society to get ahead. Crimes that were violent or sexual in nature came first but as humans and their societies developed, the crimes that were committed grew in there complexity. And so...>> came the birth of organised crime: The Mafia, The Chinese Triads, The Yakuza. There were a lot of names for the criminal organisations that manipulated society from behind the scenes. This is a story of one such family but more importantly, it's the story of the modified humans that the morally ambiguous kept as slaves known as Pets. |
