| The weariness covering Steve’s face makes him look a little more his age; but the warmth that fills his chest and the soft, tired smile he manages as he removes the suit, all the while looking at Bucky, has him feeling like a scrawny smitten kid in Brooklyn for the first time in decades. He practically body slams Bucky when he crosses the distance between them in only a few quick strides and wraps him in a hug, melting into his warmth just as Bucky does his and closing his eyes. For the first time in a long time, Steve is at peace. |
