This character-driven story explores the ways in which Erik and Éponine both complement and brilliantly contrast each other. Like mirrors, they force each other to confront truths about themselves and their world, while also radiating some hopeful light as they provide each other with opportunities to heal and grow. In the process, an unlooked-for relationship organically unfolds, which they must learn to navigate without unwittingly hurting one another. |
