This was a nice piece of work. You gave an excellent overview of theoretical principles (though you also raised problematic points that I'd have liked to see discussed further). I think you could have done a bit more on the technical side of the review, describing prevous gender-identification computational methods and perhaps also related work in classifying other features. You also did a good job with feature selection and testing separate features, though some aspects of your methodology weren't completely clear to me. For example, I'm not sure why you used a subset of the corpus, was that for testing solo features only? Anyway, on the whole, well done.
