В каких-то допах было упоминание о баронском титуле Малфоев до Статута.

In modern times, the rules were drastically reformed, creating two distinct types of barons with different rights:
Life Barons (Have the right to sit): Under the Life Peerages Act 1958, the government was allowed to create "life peers." These individuals are appointed (usually by the Prime Minister) and given the rank of Baron or Baroness for their lifetime only. The title cannot be passed down to their children. Crucially, a life peerage comes with the automatic right to sit and vote in the House of Lords. Today, the vast majority of the members of the House of Lords are Life Barons.
Hereditary Barons (Generally lost the right): Under the House of Lords Act 1999, the UK government removed the automatic right of hereditary peers to sit in the House of Lords. Therefore, if someone inherits the title of an English Baron today, they do not automatically get a seat in Parliament.
