Millennia have passed and many a thing has changed — including the fact that Zag is, finally, not tied to the Underworld as he used to. He makes the most of it by enjoying life on the surface to the fullest. Life is great, if a little uneventful... that is, until he gets a message from a stranger claiming to be a reaper after his soul. His mortal soul, which, he is not in possession of.
It's probably some scam but, well. He hasn't had this much fun in a while, and the stranger is really beautiful, okay. (It doesn't hurt that he reminds him a little of another silver haired embodiment of Death, either.)
He'll just play along and see where this goes.
