Dirty, orphaned, street kid Tony thinks that Loki is like a genie who goes around granting wishes, and asks to be made into someone who has the chances to make himself into something great. Loki agrees, but only if Tony is willing to owe him a blank check for the future. Neither of them could have possibly guessed where they would both end up as a result.
