Odin isn't the world's best bartender by any means, but he figures if he washes enough glasses, eventually adventure will walk in the door and call him away from the sleepy, boring village of Great Scar where he grew up.
Instead, a very hot boy walks through the door with his family and makes Odin think that staying in Great Scar won't be so bad.
And then the bandits show up, and Odin learns that he'd rather Great Scar had stayed sleepy and boring. Because he sure isn't going to save it.
