The boy looked at her. There was no fear in his eyes, no hatred… just kind eyes and a dopey grin. She couldn’t tell if he was just plain dumb, or truly being kind. She wasn’t even sure if she deserved such kindness. She looked back at the crackling fire in front of them, “Shut up.”
The boy laughed, “I didn’t say anything!”
“You were thinking too loud.” She grumbled and pulled her knees up to her chest. She was a monster; years of manipulation and cruelty don’t just go way because she lost her crown.
Traveling with the weight of her actions on her shoulders she finds herself in a perilous situation, forced to confront the consequences of her past. With the help of unlikely allies and her inner strength, Azula begins to unravel the layers of her damaged psyche. She grapples with the trauma of her upbringing, the abuse she endured, and the toxic influence of her parents. As she slowly breaks free from the chains of her past, Azula discovers a glimmer of empathy and compassion within herself, but can Azula find redemption and a chance to become the person she was always meant to be?
