Raph’s face burned. He wanted to scream. Wanted to snap back and defend himself for once. But all that would do is earn him another lecture, and maybe a punishment on top of it. The best course of action would be the same thing he always did, apologize to his father and back off. But he couldn’t do that either. He wasn’t wrong. Mikey knew what he was doing, and… And it’s not just a game system. It’s not something they found in the trash and Donnie fixed up. It was a gift. The only thing that was actually his.
“You…” He swallows hard. “Mikey could kill me and you’d still make it my fault.”
