| Leonardo returns from their training expecting their brothers to be themselves. They are not themselves, in fact they feel more like completely different people nowadays. Ft. Leo’s crippling self-esteem and separation anxiety Ft. Donnie being too tired and stressed to stay in character Ft. Raph being depressed but too dumb to realise Ft. Mikey slowly chipping away at his sanity until the constant arguments of the past few years cause him to snap. And it just so happens to be at his 2 dumbass older brothers who have been ghosting him for 2 years. |

The hiss cuts off into a yelp when the first rat bites down on the exposed area between his skin and his shell, its grimy paws digging the pink flesh underneath away. - What if, in the episode I, Monster, Mikey didn’t get out of the restraints in time? | Mikey always liked this part of their patrols, when they would stay out just long enough to catch a glimpse of those vibrant colors. His eyes would be glued to the skyline where they should’ve been glued to the roof in front of them as they leaped across buildings. He would stumble and laugh when he jumped wrong while distracted, let his brothers gripe and moan about how ninja don’t watch sunrises...>>, but his eyes would always drift back to that gorgeous view. Not tonight, though. As much as he would love to watch the horizon, his head was killing him, and it took all of his concentration just to keep his legs moving as he and his brothers sprinted from building to building.
