After his humiliating failure to conquer Earth, Loki finds himself locked away in the dungeons of Asgard by Odin. Everything seems normal… or so it seems.
A few months into his imprisonment, Loki unexpectedly ends up back on Earth. S.H.I.E.L.D. wants answers—not just about Loki’s past actions, but about the looming threats they suspect are tied to him.
Meanwhile, back in Asgard, no one notices Loki’s absence, leaving him at the mercy of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a particularly curious doctor eager to study his powers.
Unintentionally, Natasha and the rest of the Avengers are dragged into the situation. And when Thor learns what’s happening to his brother, his rage knows no bounds. He’ll stop at nothing to rescue Loki from this new torment.
