“Charming. But if I’d known we were starting with threats, I would’ve brought tea.”

He smiled—a smirk, really—and took the seat across from her.
“Let’s get to work, then,” he said, voice like silk laced with venom. “I’m dying to see how you plan to save the wizarding world this time.”
She narrowed her eyes, pulse quickening (from irritation, of course.)
“Oh, you’ll be helping me, Malfoy. Like it or not.”
He leaned forward, his gaze sharp.
“Oh, I like it just fine, Granger. Let’s see if you can keep up.”
