Two years after the war, Harry and Draco are doing the best they can. They built a relationship on running for their lives. When things slow down, neither knows quite what to do. Harry thinks he's escaped the war in one piece and tells himself he’s one of the lucky ones. But as he and Draco face the ramifications of survival, it becomes clear that he’s still running for his life.
As they attempt to raise a child together, he feels strong enough to go after answers. Work for the Ministry leaves him picking up clues that hint of Snape's survival and he becomes obsessed with finding him. The curse that he and Draco suffered at different times, has given them a reason to try harder for each other and for their family. He will have to navigate a hostile past with Lucius Malfoy and repair damage inherited from his father, before his family can find peace.
