“So,” Jayce drawls when they meet up for lunch. “Who’s this girl that Vi likes?”
Caitlyn’s salad-laden fork freezes halfway to her mouth.
“The who that Vi what?”
“Yeah, I was surprised, too,” Jayce says, oblivious. “Apparently she wants to impress a girl.”
