“Oh, bugger.” Sirius blurts out.
James manages a weak laugh as he looks up from his hands. “Well, at least I won’t have to die alone.”
“Oh, bugger.” Sirius repeats, staring back at his best friend, color draining from his face. “Lily’s going to kill me, Prongs.”
“I hope we’ll at least make as good pensieve memories.” James smirks… although it could have been a grimace. “‘S been nice knowing you, Siri.”
Sirius did not whimper.
