Sanctuary in the Sound (смешанная)

It's the summer of 2009, and even though Max has been in Seattle this whole time since Thanksgiving, that hasn't stopped her and Chloe from texting and calling as if they weren't in two different states. And now, Chloe is going up to Seattle. With David moving in while she's away, she definitely needs a distraction, and spending a week Seattle with Max is the perfect solution. She will discover that Seattle, as large as it is to her, is quiet and peaceful in it's own way, and is something she has needed for a long time.
Note: Reading the first story, Where the Pieces Land, is NOT required to understand this story, but I do reccomend reading it anyway before reading this as there are some references to it in this story that may or may not make sense if you haven't read the first one yet.
