Following the events of The Only Way Now, where they met a former time traveler and broke the cycle, Max and Chloe have enjoyed the perfect and well deserved life together. They're in love, have successful careers, and are getting married. Suddenly, an unexpected visitor comes into the picture and warns them about a bleak future, which is equally beautiful and horrifying. They will need to stick together, defy the odds, and kick some ass to ensure a happy future.
