After watching a girl die in a bathroom, Max Caulfield discovers she has powers, but when that girl turns out to be Chloe Price, childhood best friend/crush turned badass, Max becomes even more conflicted and confused.
Chloe is in a similar boat. Her search for Rachel Amber becoming fruitless, she is angry, then excited when Max comes back into her life.
