After a shuttle crash leaves them stranded on a world in the edge of the galaxy, Liara must drag a critically injured Commander Shepard across 43 kilometers of unforgiving wilderness in search of an emergency relay. A drag path etched into the mountainside becomes the only proof they were ever there, and of a promise neither of them is willing to break: no matter the cost, neither of them will be left behind.
