As much as I like Castiel, his return through a sudden intervention from God and knowing exactly where the Winchesters were right then and being able to save them was a bit high on the convenience scale for me, so I thought up an alternate version of the events where Lucifer managed to get into Nick just a bit faster and, for lack of rib scribbling, instantly found Sam in the storage unit.
