Minister Granger is in the fifth year as Minister of Magic. According to JKR, Hermione is made the Minister in 2019. I wanted to put this story in 2024 so that we were deep into her administration. At this time, Hermione is 45, Ron's ~44, Rose is 19, and Hugo is 15/16. She is uncertain about her future with her husband, Ron Weasley, when an unexpected figure reappears in her life.
This is, and I cannot stress this enough, *not* for people who like Ron Weasley. This fic picks up on Ron’s bullying overtones from canon and sees it to its most abusive possibilities. This fic also presents a Draco Malfoy redemption arc. So if it’s not for you, that’s okay! I hope you find something that is for you.
