Minister Granger is in the fifth year as Minister of Magic. According to JKR, Hermione is made the Minister in 2019. I wanted to put this story in 2024 so that we were deep into her administration. At this time, Hermione is 45, Ron's ~44, Rose is 19, and Hugo is 15/16. She is uncertain about her future with her husband, Ron Weasley, when an unexpected figure reappears in her life. Meant as a one shot. Got a little carried away.
