Early Reawakening (джен)

There's no stranger existence in the world than the presence of the Velvet Room and the inhabitants of it, shown only to chosen Persona users that are dubbed Wild Cards. Those chosen users form a contract to fulfill their obligations as the Wild Card to prevent ruin upon the world, but they do not always succeed. In the case that a Wild Card fails their contract, the world is reset to a "safe period" of time deemed by Philemon, and the contractee is allowed to regain their memories of the past reset when they awaken once again in the reset world. However, an attempted hijacking of the Velvet Room was far different than a Wild Card's failure, and resulted in an automatic, last resort measure left behind by Philemon should it become compromised. In order to prevent corruption of the Velvet Room's power, the world was sent to reset to a time period where Wild Cards users are abundant in numbers, but not yet awakened. The only Wild Card active during this abrupt reset was Yu Narukami and now he's left in this altered world, left with the task to assist both his Wild Card predecessors and successor when the time comes.
