Naruto is trained by Jiraiya, seriously. What started out as a journey for training his apprentice in mastering his demonic powers turns into something else entirely. Jiraiya was mature, loved anything feminine and had closed fists in money related matters. Naruto was naive, oblivious to women and had a heart of gold. Eventually they learn that they were two sides of the same coin.
