"Can you swim?"
She shakes her head, stops. Thinks about it. Shakes her head again. "N-n-not home."
"Not your home?" Lan Zhan thinks about it. "Your home is the sea, but not this part of it?"

Lan Zhan is one of few practising cultivators left. She spends her days at sea, on her boat putting restless souls at ease. She did not realise that she, too, is a restless soul.
