Jacob was not pleased to hear his sister's betrothed and Evie did not understand why. Jacob cold-heartedly left soon after her wedding and they haven't spoken since. As five years flew by, Evie realized her wedding was a bit hasty. Henry and Evie mutually separated and she returned to London, hoping to patch things up with her dear young brother, but she did not receive a warm welcome. As the days pass after her return, she built up courage to build their relationship back together. During the process, she begins to find out the reasons of his coldness, but as they revitalize their relationship, someone new comes in the picture and Evie finds no fond of the one who appears to be going after her dear brother.

Позавчера стояла на лугу и наблюдала, как он постепенно тонет в тумане.
Кажется, ничего не происходит, только поют в высокой траве сверчки, кукует где-то кукушка, и туман совсем далеко... Сонно. Спокойно. О-о-очень спокойно...
А потом вдруг словно просыпаешься от морока, а туман-то уже рядом! Укутывает с головой мягким, нежным, влажным одеялом. И ты, словно Атлантида, погружаешься под воду.

А потом прибежали мои девчули, 4-х и 8 лет, и мы играли в догонялки в тумане. Трава была такая мокрая, что из резиновых сапог потом выливали воду.
