Hermione could not think of anything worse than having to spend her school year after the war living alone with Draco Malfoy. Yet he had somehow made it worse. Malfoy made a bet with his friends to take her virginity before Christmas. It seems they both have a slight competitive streak.

“Yes, I still do, but that doesn’t explain why you’re suddenly being nice to me.”
